Anyone who knows me, KNOWS that for more than a decade (back when If you played ‘dead or alive’ & someone offered the name “Fresca” most would just yell, “DEAD! Fresca is definitely dead!”) but I knew you were NOT dead. I knew you were alive. Very much alive in my glass. I drank you. A lot. Still do. It’s called the Carson-ita. (Ask my friends @nbcthevoice or @todayshow they will confirm) The Carson-ita is Fresca, of course, my friend #KettleOneVodka & a colorful splash of the homey @pomwonderful. But today I went to 4 different stores & you were gone. Vanished. “Bad news CD, just got off the phone with @cocacola and no more Fresca until further notice” my pal Jeff, our local bev connect texts me. What?! I emoji back with the wide eyes & Home Alone face. Where the hell is it? I’m taking the fam away for 4th of July holiday, I need you NOW more than ever! I can’t survive this week with Club Soda! (No offense Club Soda, I enjoy you too. But you’re no Fresca.) Alright, well I am at a loss. Please come back. At least to Long Island’s north shore. Quickly. By 2pm Friday maybe?
