New Bike Course Record and 2nd Place Overall for Sam Laidlow at Hawaii IM Men's World Championship! After an incredible Women's race on Thursday, it was time for the Men to tackle the World Championship course on Kona this Saturday. Unlike the Women's race, we didn't get a podium sweep, but we still saw an amazing display of gutsy racing from our athletes. For most of the race, @samlaidlow looked like the man to beat after setting the second-fastest swim time of the day and absolutely smashing the bike course record set by Cam Wurf in 2018, shaving nearly five minutes off. Hunted by the notoriously fast Norwegian running duo, Sam managed to keep the Olympic champ behind and hang on for second place. With @maxxyneuman and @notanotheraveragejoe rounding out the top five, we had three of the five fastest Men ride our OSPW Aeros.
