This is the first prayer mat I received when I accepted Islam in 2020 I know physical things aren’t important, but this one object has a very special place in my heart.... I’m not sure what specifically has always made me bring it everywhere with me (despite people giving me many more prayer mats over the years).. but this one particular blue prayer mat has always stuck with me. It’s my best friend, I’ve shed many tears on this mat and made sujood on it when my duaas were answered Ps my husband knows to not use this prayer rug lol... it’s mine 🫢😂 I guess what I’m saying is that you might have things on your journey to wellness that seem a bit “odd” or seem weird to other. But if it works for you, and it’s helping you achieve wellness in a holistic and sustainable way.... GO FOR IT.
