Humans are so resilient. We are capable of so much. Sometimes, in order to understand those capabilities, we have to be pushed into the darkest of places. 9/11 tested every American. Tested their feelings of safety, their trust, their fears, their ability to love when all they wanted to do was hate, their ability to endure war, their ability to endure loss, and their ability to know grief. Honestly, this singular event sparked so much change in life-direction for so many, that it’s STILL testing a lot of us. Remembering this day and all that came from it can bring back so many painful thoughts. But like our friend @maxperdiem said: “No matter how traumatic the loss, you have so much emotional stamina.
