Cleanup our Coastline & WIN! This Saturday is International Coastal Cleanup Day 🐋 Our team will be hitting the beaches to lend a hand to this important cause. 🩴🏖️ Marine debris is one of the greatest threats our ocean faces, but luckily it is an issue with which we can all play a part in the solution. How can you help? Simply head to your nearest beach and start collecting trash! (It is advisable to wear protective gloves, shoes, as well as hats, sunglasses and sunscreen). Take a pic of yourself getting stuck in, tag us, and stand a chance to win a R1 000 Wellness Warehouse hamper! 🌊🐚🦑 If you’d like to join a group, get involved with the following cleanup events around SA: ICC 2022 Beach Revival Event Helderberg Marine Protected Area, Beach Road, Strand opposite Cape Sands apartments. Date: 2022-09-17 Time: 09h30 Contact: Lisa Starr [email protected] Pringle Bay International Coastal Cleanup Beach Road Pringle Bay Date: 2022-09-17 Time: 09h30 Contact: Marine Anti Poaching Unit [email protected] Kalk Bay Harbour Ocean and Beach Clean up Date: 2022-09-17 Time: 09h00 Contact: Chris Krauss [email protected] Pearly Beach Angling Club Date: 2022-09-17 Time: 08h30 Contact: Liezl Myburgh [email protected] World Clean-up Day in Fisantekraal 2022 Corner of Ipesika Street and Ivatatla Street, Greenville Date: 2022-09-17 Time: 09h00 Contact: Danielle Cronje [email protected] Cleaner-Greener -Nomzamo ACJ Pakade Primary School Strand Date: 2022-09-17 Time: 10h00 Contact: Fefe Ngaye [email protected] Visit https://www.worldcleanupday.org/country/south-africa for a full list of all the cleanup events taking place in SA.
