When I was 13 years old I lost my father to a drunk driver. I was so blessed that my dad was such an active father and even at such a young age he left such a massive impression on me. The kind of father I am today directly reflects the kind of father my dad was to me and my 5 siblings. . This day and age there are not many people like that especially old-school father figures. Men leading from the front and being a role model for their family. Being a gentle giant but knowing there is a switch that can be flipped at any time. Being proud and supportive of your significant other. Being a role model to the community and celebrating in other peoples successes and just being a good man. @neal was all of these things and more. . What gives me so much hope and happiness in this dark time for his amazing family is that he truly was all those things. I know his happiest place on earth was on the mountain camping with his entire family, I know how much pride he took and being a father and being there for his children, I know how much he loved his amazing wife and making memories with her and the kids. . I know how strong those memories can be and I’m so happy he made so many of them with so many people and most of all with his family. I know I will always cherish mine. . Love you brother and sorry you alway had to look up to me🤣 just know I always looked up to you.... . One for the Airborne Ranger in the sky.
