🚨This week AB 2408 (Cunningham and Wicks) passed Assembly Judiciary Committee with a 9-0 vote, one abstention. The Social Media Duty to children act would be the first-in-the-nation state legislation that would prevent companies from using addictive algorithms against children. I had the opportunity to share my story with the world and testify in support of this bill and the 20 million children on this platform . It was my greatest honor after 7 years of advocacy.
