Help me help the children at Children’s Health Dallas!!🎄🎁 As many of you know, I was diagnosed with leukemia when I was eight years old. Following my diagnosis, I had to spend Christmas in the hospital. I remember being devastated about having to spend my favorite holiday in the hospital and I was scared that Santa wouldn’t know where I was! Childhood cancer causes so much stress and fear, and having to deal with all of this during the holidays makes it even more heartbreaking. I was fortunate enough to live locally, so I had lots of visitors and a huge support system that was able to keep this holiday special for me, but this is not the case for many patients. We met many families from all over Texas without local family and friends and no means to go shopping or provide their family with “Christmas”. But, thanks to Children’s and the donations they receive, Santa visits all patients and their families to bring them presents on Christmas morning!! Having experienced this firsthand, it inspired me to start a Joy (toy) Drive!! This year I will be doing my third “Julia’s Joy Drive”! There are two ways you can help!
