Are you living in a season where there seem to be more questions than answers? If you’re not, you will. If you are, it won’t always be like this. 1 Corinthians 13 has been food for my soul lately... For now, we are looking in a mirror that gives only a dim (blurred) reflection [of reality as in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] we shall see in reality and face to face! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood [by God]. Life is hard and yet gorgeous in the same breath! The older I get the less I try to understand the mystery we are all living in. I’ve learned that the things I desperately want to understand and crave answers to, may NEVER come this side of heaven. That can be heartbreaking for most of us. But in the same breath, I’m known and loved by the God who holds all those answers and me in His hands. So I rest on His faithfulness. And right now, that’s enough. So right now, though you can't see it clearly, one day you will.
