As I’ve been reminded, today is Silky Nutmeg Ganache Day in honor of the 1 year anniversary of Silky’s Smackdown. It’s so wild to think that you all loved that single episode so much. I made HERstory - The only contestant on @rupaulsdragrace with her own episode. When I was competing in all those lipsyncs, I never imagined what it was going to become. I was there just doing what I had to do. I just wanted to leave a message that you can do whatever you put your mind to. @tasiasword says, “Sometimes you have to lose, to win again!” Those are true words to my heart because my career turned around 1 year ago today. It feels good knowing that this one episode lifts your day when you’re down. And I’m happy that I can be joy for you all. Drag has been joy for me even through the bad and ugly.
