The 🏳️‍⚧️Rally to Resist 🏳️‍🌈gathering at the capitol today was powerful. I think there were well over a thousand people there, which brought me to tears. . Being trans in Iowa right now is exhausting. I am tired. I am worn down. I am sad. I am angry and afraid - and I’m not even a trans kid in school under many of these threats. . Please continue to show up - continue to voice your opposition to your legislators. Continue to protect trans children. . And please follow orgs doing really great work at the capitol, in schools and in our community to support trans kids: @oneiowa @iowaqsa @iowawtf @iowasafeschools .
