yesterday was the very first time I purchased a “happy birthday, to my husband” card and it truly hit me all over again — while I am so grateful I get to celebrate you on every birthday for the rest of our lives, I am even more grateful that I get to celebrate you every single day in between. I get to celebrate each time we find a new favorite tavern nearby and every project we finish in our cottage. I get to celebrate every day we get to work from home together, every accomplishment you make, and every deal you close that month. I get to celebrate every mile you run, especially when it’s 100 of them. I get to celebrate every morning coffee pot you make and every time we finish another re-watch of the Originals. I get to celebrate every kitchen dance and pizza night. I get to celebrate every adventure we take, whether it’s down south, up north, out west, or abroad.
