The boys took their newly built S5’s on a little tour down the coast of California last month; @thecoastride is becoming a yearly tradition for the team From @Alvinescajeda “The Coast Ride is an annual event, taking 300-400 cyclists of all abilities down the California Coast via Scenic Highway 1 from San Francisco to Santa Barbara. Covering 380 miles in 3 days, it's a challenge for anyone and a perfect place to test your fitness and gear, but also a fun way to train. Being a Los Angeles based team, we add an extra day, adding 110 miles and ride all the way home. This year was a special one for our team; we got to ride our new Cervelo CNCPT Team S5’s with a matching @endocustoms Kit. This is the perfect route for the S5, covering long flat windy roads, rolling hills and battered farm roads. Its ability to do it all blew my mind, and I feel like we really got to know each other after 4 back to back 6 hour days. Building the S5’s was the most rewarding puzzle I’ve ever completed. Seeing all the S5 frames and Shimano DURA ACE groups & Reserve Wheels laid out at ENDO Customs was the stuff of dreams, but I knew we had a big job ahead of us. Finding all the correct components based on size and preference of the rider was a task like no other, along with several other precise tasks that brought our CNCPT Team S5’s to life. I was handed the reins and tasked with making sure all the builds would be completed and I couldn’t be happier with the job. A few days of organizing, sourcing and wrenching and all the bikes came to life.
