Growing up we listened to an eclectic but specific mix of music at home. Along with klezmer, James Taylor, the Beatles, Carole King, and Indian and western classical music there was a hefty dose of Celtic music. I only ever had one fiddle lesson in Ireland on a family trip aged 10. My dad bought me a fiddle book hoping I’d learn more but I couldn’t seem to bring myself to learn with sheet music and a CD. Still, the sound of Celtic music makes my heart sing… recently I’m picking up my violin again and trying to play a few tunes. I used to listen to this one over and over on The Corrs album as a teenager. P.s. I know it sounds rusty - just shared cause why not? And I put a silly voice effect on it too cause why not also??
