To our darling daughter Violet, Wow, 1 whole year of Violet Rae Hogan. What an extraordinary ride we have all been on. It has been the most heartfelt and joyful journey watching you grow this past year. It has truely been the best year of our lives. You have brought so much love, so much happiness, and so much life into our lives. You have taught us to be better and greater people, you have taught us how to be parents, and taught us a life that we never even known existed. From the minute the pregnancy test came back positive we knew that you would be one special little person. From every kick, every movement and every little milestone of the pregnancy, we grew to love someone we haven’t even met yet. Then the second you were pulled out of my tummy, you made us feel something that we didn’t even know was humanly possible, a type of love that defeats any other emotion. You were the most perfect baby we have ever seen. We have watched you grow from this little baby into this amazing little human being. Every single day you have amazed us with your strength and your resilience. You have such a strong personality and you brighten up every single room you enter. Your little smile with your three little teeth is truly the picture of happiness and it infectious with anyone that meets you. I know that your future is destined to be so bright and that you will have such a positive impact on this world and in everyone’s life.
