Today is #worldmentalhealthday and so I have decided to share a few of the ways in which I cope with my mental health daily 💕
Firstly, you are not alone and my DM's are always open, a place of no judgement and lots of compassion 🥰
Every day I struggle with my mental health, some days are better than others. I have negative thoughts daily and most of the time I can brush these off but sometimes it takes a lot of effort. During periods of more bad days than good days I need a focus, a challenge, currently this is Betsy and her conversion and other recent times, this has been training Bramble a specific trick.
I try to always force myself out of bed and to get up. Sometimes this is not possible. 🛌
I try to get some fresh air, canicross at the start of the year helped with this and gave me a focus so I am hoping to find my passion again 🐾👣
I try to remember to eat 3 times that day, maybe not always real meals but 3 seperate times throughout the day. I try to avoid caffeine on the bad days.
I try to think about all the good times recently and all the plans we have coming up. I try to break down my negativity and replace it with positivity.
I am learning to talk more about my bad days even though I don't always understand why I'm sad or down.
