Sharing something that I have been wanting to do for a while... This week l started the process of freezing my eggs! Why have I decided to share my experience? I have found that sharing my personal story and journey has been a powerful way to inspire others. If I can continue to use my platform to help encourage, empower, and educate my community, I am doing my job 🙌🏾. My hope is that by documenting and discussing my process, I can help break down some of the stigmas surrounding egg freezing, spark conversation, and normalize this process. Many individuals are choosing to preserve their fertility and delay having children for a variety of reasons. Whether it’s due to education, health related causes , chasing the bag, career, or something else, it’s your choice and should be respected. The only timeline you should be on is your own, but you should know about your options. I’m thankful to share my journey with @brownfertility 🫶🏾. I know motherhood will be incredible when I’m ready to take that step (one day, just not right now) and knowing that I have options for the future brings me peace. I want to inspire you to seek out and explore your options too, especially when it comes to your fertility health!
