Lots of rumors went around about Evans returning in an alternate role…and rumors were at an all time high this week given the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday teaser released with the premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash! There are reports that FOUR Avengers: Doomsday teasers are set to play over the upcoming weeks during screenings of the new Avatar movie - and the first teaser features Chris Evans! @variety has confirmed that Chris Evans WILL return as CAPTAIN AMERICA - and with a kid?! : Variety: “Chris Evans Returns for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ as Captain America With a Child, Teaser Confirms” -Published Dec 18, 2025 / 11:22a PST “Cap is back — and he’s a dad! The first teaser trailer for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ has revealed that Steve Rogers, the star-spangled Avenger portrayed by Chris Evans, will return in the next Marvel team-up adventure, set to release Dec. 18, 2026. In a twist, Captain America is the father to a newborn child.
