Biodiversity loss disproportionately harms the human rights of indigenous peoples who protect 80% of our planet’s remaining #biodiversity yet only make up 5% of the world’s population. At #COP15 we need solutions that preserve biodiversity, safeguard human rights and don’t leave behind those who are most vulnerable. Not only is biodiversity critical for our planet's health, but also for ours. Nature provides us with clean air, water, medicines and food. Let’s protect our most valuable asset.
