Last month I designed and directed this three day experience for @billieeilish ’s record release with my amazing directing partner @213annie_sperling. We worked under the multi talented creative agency @iheartcomix and alongside the creative teams at @interscope and @spotify to bring to life a world based on Billies new album Happier Than Ever. We took over a lovely French chateau in Bel Air and transformed its grounds into 3 immersive lands with installations for each song easter egged throughout. The first night was a star studded and intimate party that ended with loads of people following Billie into the pool in their fancy clothes and signing happy birthday to @finneas. The following two days were smiling and joyous fans that got to be in a billie world that she just reveled in the day before. It was one of the more challenging opportunities of my career and I would never have been able to do this without @213annie_sperling and our amazing 27 person art crew!
