“We must, however, acknowledge, as it seems to me, that man with all his noble qualities...still bears in his bodily frame the indelible stamp of his lowly origin.” So said Charles Darwin as he pondered the evolution of mankind. For all that we are the highpoint of natural selection – the result of the forefathers before us – it’s worth remembering that we need a little help to give this state of highly evolved manhood the respect it deserves.
