How the multiple airy figures rise up from the robust dark shell aiming to reach the altitude Using hand-built coiling, an ancient technique that requires fine control, the primal shapes are created into the ceramic element. Being a homage to fauna, the outer shell's intricate details are formed with metal spatula. During the two months period the solid oak block has slowly dried in the wood drying oven. The fluent shape is carefully carved with traditional methods using chisels and sanders and the final silky approach is accomplished with precious finishing techniques and linseed oil wax. I have generated the wooden shell in a close conjunction with fine woodworking carpenters. A thick chock inside the sculptures connects two elements and ensures a rigid mounting.
