God is ALWAYS good! It’s so easy to praise and thank God when your life is good. BUT God is also good even when you don’t like the way things are going or when you face a situation you don’t understand. In the past few years, like so many others, I’ve battled chronic health issues. Many days have been harder than I could have imagined. Recently I’ve experienced progress in my energy and I’m so thankful for that! But I’ve continued to feel God’s goodness even in the hard times. You may enjoy God on the mountain tops, but you get to know him in the valleys. “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” Isaiah 40:29 NIV If you are going through something difficult or Painful right now, I’m praying that God would give you peace and reveal himself to you in a very real way.
