On this day, in 1916, the national park service was established to preserve our natural and cultural places for the enjoyment of future generations. Truly one of America’s best idea! I was lucky enough to visit my 38th national park last week, Great Sand Dunes NP. The tallest sand dunes in America! We hiked the dunes, enjoyed a spectacular sunset and because it was a new moon, we saw all the stars in the sky! So magical. May we continue to protect our beautiful lands for everyone to enjoy 🙏
