We took Greenwood to see Vice President Kamala Harris. Then we took Greenwood to the West Wing of The White House; then President Joe Biden came to Tulsa to shine a light on what happened 100 years ago. I’ll never forget this moment, and I’ll never forget the people who got me there. I had never been so prepared to meet a moment in my life. This trip was about justice in the form of reparations for a debt owed. Everyone seems to support it but those who don’t truly believe in justice nor have enough conviction pulsing through their souls to commit to doing the right thing. But that’s okay. We’ve been here for over 400 years making this country better even when it has yet to recognize our tremendous contribution. I’m still committed to a better America.
