Chicken 🥪 with the sandwich king himself @owen.han What I enjoy most about collab videos is watching how the recipe evolves when two people with different styles bring it together. We seasoned the chicken with salt and five spice, then let it infuse in a fresh Asian inspired marinade. While that was smoking (over applewood), we quickly pickled cucumbers and carrots using some of that reserved marinade. For the sauce we combined hoisin and chili crisp then assembled the sandwich on fresh bread. The end result reminded me of a Bahn Mi sandwich, but with a smoky undertone that really took it to the next level.
