spent the past two months deeply listening, dreaming, and painting a romantic ritual for @mitskileaks laurel hell tour 💐 really it’s been a years-long process, looking back at all of my dance videos to her music before we even met 🥺 the first full length show i’ve ever choreographed/longest love letter i’ve ever poured my heart into started meeting the world last night 💌 i love live performance because it is so alive, especially for a raw performer like mitski. i am so excited for everyone to be touched by the many dimensions of this show 🚪✨ yes she requested dance for 22 of a 24 song setlist (i was shocked at first), all of which she had to learn in 2.5 weeks (at least 2 pieces per day), and refused modification every time i asked insisting she’d practice and work on her breath control to get it. i would say get your tix but they sold out everywhere as soon as they went on sale.... yt ticket holders u kno what to do 👀 pls send/tag me in vids if ur goin, i have so much fomo bc i wish i could witness every single one one ✈️🥀
