I used to dream about movement like this. I know longer need dream.
My dreams now consist of even further movement that feels impossible & that will go on & on.
How do we make the impossible seem possible? By not immediately going after the impossible, by setting up & having realistic training habits that we can maintain & progressively make more challenging over the weeks, months, & years.
I remember last year around this time I was doing some kind of upper body strength training, whether that was class or a personal practice around 5-7 times a week. Flash forward I’ve built that up to 8-9 times a week & the training is significantly more challenging than before. Adding on 1 more session a week for a few weeks or months can do wonders. If the body continues to progress & you feel good, then add on another & so on. Having practical & realistic training ideas & weekly habits is arguably the most important thing. Without this, advanced goals become really hard to accomplish or take significantly longer to reach.
