Impact Retreat 2024 was amazing!!! I was beyond blessed to serve as a first time counselor for BETA BENJI 💛 !!! This retreat left me in absolute awe of the Lord’s provision and faithfulness. Going in to this, I was feeling many insecurities about my ability to lead others in the faith. I just wanted to represent Jesus well and was scared that I would mess it up. But God!!! The Lord showed me that opportunities like this have nothing to do with my ability but everything to do with His ability!! He used broken and imperfect people like me to work through and do amazing things at Impact!! He saved people, turned lives around, and gave people clarity about what their future with their identity in Christ should look like!! Also, I don’t want to forget to mention that I had the most fun that I’ve had in a while! It’s always a good time when you put a bunch of people who love Jesus in one room!! Also, the Lord’s intentionality left me speechless! My BG kids were absolutely amazing, and I know God placed every single one of them there for a reason! My BG girls had testimonies that truly moved me and that I related to all too well! To my BG kids—thank y’all from the bottom of my heart for being so vulnerable and for showing me the love of Jesus! I also want to thank my BG partner, my quad, and my fellow counselors for doing this alongside me and for pushing me to grow in my faith in so many ways! I love y’all!
