Our video for ‘This Is My Body’ by @junior.brother is out now! It’s a tragedy about bad self esteem, and a gentle reminder to be kind to yourself. The idea for this video came to me immediately when Ronan sent me the song almost two years ago, but I had no idea how I’d go about it. The song was so good though that I knew I would need to make it work somehow. We finally got to shoot at the end of January this year and it was brought to life by an incredibly talented team. I cannot thank them enough for their talent and dedication to a project that is equal parts silly and tragic. There are too many people to thank for this one, but I want to shout out our art director @noelle.slacke for bringing this world to life on an absolute shoe string. I also want to say a huge thank you to @bq_vo for taking the main role of the husband so seriously and who, through multiple conversations on the lead up to the shoot, brought real depth to a character that could so easily have devolved into a silly caricature. The comedy enhances the tragedy, and the tragedy enhances the comedy, to quote Bryan. The whole team on this (and I think it’s a cliche by now, but it’s true) were amazing, and none of this would have been possible without them. Go and hire them all!
