We've had an eventful first week at ICA Miami’s @KnightFDN Art + Research Center Summer Intensive, attending seminars, performances, and lectures from anthropologists Stefania Pandolfo and Michael Taussig. Week 1 explored the "invisible in the arts," spirit possession from the perspective of Islamic cosmologies and aesthetics-as-cure, as well as what has been called "corpse magic."
