How it started ———> How it’s going⁣ ⁣ This month actually marks ten years since I started my broadcasting journey. The photo on the left is from my start at @NaachRadio, which was an online radio station that streamed top 40 along with the best in South Asian music. ⁣ ⁣ I had no prior experience in radio⁣ or media but it was a dream of mine to be a host since I was a kid. I can probably thank MuchMusic and Flow 93.5 for that.⁣ ⁣ I ended up convincing Ajay & Bhavini Sagar to give me an hour on Saturdays, while in return I’d cold call advertisers for the station. That one hour a week meant the world to me, and it allowed me to live out a dream...which ten years later has become my full-time job. ⁣ ⁣ Radio is such an interesting medium. It’s the one place where you can talk to no one and everyone at the same time. But it also conveys emotion and information in a way that’s unique and imaginative.
