Over the past four years, God has led me through many trials. Four years ago, my dream was to play Division 1 soccer. However, during the end of my freshman year, I tore my ACL, which taught me that God is in control of my path. This showed me that soccer was not where I needed to be. In February the following year, I had the opportunity to travel to Monterrey, Mexico, to serve with Back2Back Ministries. I not only loved the area but I developed a deep love for the children I was able to serve. This summer, I’ll be interning at the Linares site in Mexico with Back2Back Ministries, from May 27 to July 11. Their mission is to provide holistic care to vulnerable children and families, and sharing the love of Jesus in practical ways. I believe in the power of this ministry, and I need your support—through prayers and donations—to make a real impact.
