There were unexpected challenges that surprised me and never ending roads that got more and more beautiful with every turn. Ending up in Washington DC at the Italian Embassy was the cherry on top. I had never been to DC, so it couldn’t have been a more special way to see the nation’s Capital. The Mille Miglia Officials even graced us with a new, special award (established this year). The “Lost Foxes” award for getting involuntarily lost the most.
