"Become one with eternity.
Obliterate your personality.
Become part of your environment.
Forget yourself."
- Yayoi Kusama, 1968
Our current exhibition, "One with Eternity," honors Yayoi Kusama's distinctive vision of self-obliteration, inviting you to experience her transportive artwork. Journey into Kusama's Infinity Mirror Rooms and "become part of your environment," immersing yourself in a dazzling array of polka-dotted lanterns that extend into eternity.
🔴 Forget yourself in Yayoi Kusama’s "Infinity Mirrored Room—My Heart Is Dancing into the Universe" (2018) in “Yayoi Kusama: One with Eternity.” Free, timed passes are required for “One with Eternity;” same-day walk-up passes are distributed at the Hirshhorn daily starting at 9:30am until supplies last.
