Well they did an EARLY post today - so I’m Ecstatic to reveal a new piece for @goosetheband for their shows in Columbia, MD this weekend!!! The band is playing my old stomping grounds, so I wanted to do something special - and when I heard they were playing the chrysalis, the concept was a no brainer. I haven’t gotten to really dive into a heavy botanical themed poster in a bit, so the ability to do just that while illustrating musical critters and butterflies (with hats???) was the BEST. Plus, I got to stare at a ton of images of water droplets to nail that show info, which was also a blast. As always, thank you to @sep_lab for crushing the prep work and @vahalla for knocking the printing out of the park. These things are nuts in person!! The band has regs, foils, and key foils for sale today and tomorrow, and I’ll have reg and foil AP’s SUNDAY 8/14 at NOON CT with another few new posters being announced today. I’ll also be holding back a limited number to doodle in person at the popup in Denver next week.
