These are some mini clips of her and I creating a panel we contributed to the project. Via VPAM: “The exhibition Phung Hyunh: Sobrevivir features four quilts made by community members who remember the survivors of forced sterilization in Los Angeles County. The events that occured at LAC + USC between 1968 - 1974 and what came to light during the historical case of Madrigal vs Quilligan continues to reverberate through generations. This exhibition opens Saturday, September 17, 2022 and will remain on view until February 18, 2022 at the @vpam_arts Vincent Price Art Museum. It will feature community programming that explore contemporary issues of reproductive health and justice in communities if color and mechanisms of individual and social repair through a series of community conversations and quilting workshops.”
