To represent my Nigerian heritage, I chose to wear @ahluwalia - a label I am so immensely admirable of, fusing @priya.ahluwalia1 dual Nigerian Indian heritage, Nollywood meets Bollywood and in this dress, with the colours of the Nigerian flag 🇳🇬 and inspired by historic fabrics, the brand brings together my love of history and the present, how the past informs the future and how multiculturism and the disaporic experience brings forth a nuanced understanding of history and legacy. Representing green and white further with Valentino because Nigerians don’t dress down, only up 🔥
