My Curly Hair Routine explained 💕⤵️ 1. Begin with washed & conditioned hair. A clean base is ideal for best results before styling. 2. Soaking Wet Curls. This is my first step before applying any leave in conditioners or curl creams. When my curls are wet, it allows the stylers to work better & there is less frizz in the end. I use a fine mist spray bottle, all my curly girls & guys should own one it’s a key part of my routine @pghaircare_ ! 3. Apply some sort of moisturizing product like a leave in conditioning spray (this allows for light moisture and the hair not being weighed down since we are layering other stylers on top). I applied the Refresh & Detangle spray that contains Aloe which my hair lovessss! Brush through to throughly distribute. *Inbetween styling steps apply a layer of water to maintain wet curls & minimal frizz 4. Rake In Curl Defining Cream from ends to roots (yes for me I am applying from ends to roots first with the cream so it doesn’t weigh my roots down as much & the lengths of my hair will be very moisturized & defined. Don’t worry I won’t have root frizz, I scrunch some of the product into my hands that is already on my hair and apply it to my roots but this is diluted with water so it’s lighter on the roots. 5. Using the praying hands method & Brush styling with a denman brush to apply two gels using the double gel method for max hold + definition! I applied a light hold + a strong hold gel. 6. Diffuse until dry. Scrunch out the crunch with a light oil & your left with juicy defined curls for the week! TIP: allow hair to air dry for the first 15 mins until you feel a gel cast, then diffuse until dry this cuts down on frizz. The gel cast is almost like a protective barrier during the drying process.
