Portrait of Pashan. Canada, 2021 . I don’t get to travel as much as I’d like. But whenever I do, I’m so grateful of the kind of people I meet. Pashan was my airbnb host in a small town in Canada. She had a huge bungalow literally in the middle of nowhere. Extremely warm person. Within the first 30 mins of meeting her she made it clear that she’s an anti vaxer and I obviously had my reservations about it. But later on the conversation took another direction about capitalism, and her life experiences and why she has certain beliefs. The kind of slow life she’s living and the simple joys of life. Days like those and people like these sometimes makes you want to look things differently.
