We close this chapter today. A chapter for me, since 2019. I’ve never built a brand new musical before. It’s hard. Y’all it’s MORE than what ya get taught in college/any of these programs (not knocking my training bc it DID get me this job) -but opening and creating something this huge is only taught by experiencing. It’s thrilling. And fun. And sad/exhausting...and also AWESOME... I even got to LEAD her for a week. HUH??!? I’ll never forget the summer in Chicago where I helped create The Devil Wears Prada musical in its WORLD PREMIERE with some of the best humans ever for the rest of my life. Photo dumps to come— but for now: pure joy, nostalgia for the moments and all of the hard work this cast/team/crew has put in.. tears for the accomplishment of being able to put my very OWN heel print in this runway.
