Happy 80th to the great man @paulmccartney - he’s given me some of my best memories. Recreating Band On The Run with Kasabian, Cologne was something else on tour in 2010, visiting Windmill studios in Sussex or MPL in Soho, where he was noodling away on an acoustic. My mum and dad went to see him in Edinburgh in ‘73 and I took them back to see him Christmas 2019 in Glasgow, which was outstanding. We also went to a dinner in his honour in LA in 2012 where @foofighters played Nineteen-Hundred and Eighty-Five with him. It was magical, as are all of his gigs. Always in complete awe in the company of a living genius. Glastonbury will be something else... he’s my hero, what a human being. #Macca #Beatles
