Happy Birthday by Finn Wolfhard is out now! Evan and I had the pleasure of recording one of these songs in January of 2024. Finn was showing me some of his demos on his four track and when we got to Everytown there’s a darling, we both looked at each other and were like shall we record this right now? We zoomed over to the stu and just tracked it really fast — didn’t have to think about it too much. The next day we did the vocals and bam it was done. At this point his record was essentially done and mixed, but when we finished this song, Finn decided that it would be a good addition to the record and so here it is. Enjoy :)
