Things are definitely quieter in the yard bird-wise these days. The constant 100°+ temps have been pretty brutal (with no end in sight), but luckily it has been cooling down to the 70s each night. I realized I never posted any of the birds I saw in April and May during Spring migration. Our yard attracted more migrants than ever before. We’ve spent the last four years planting native plants and working on water features for all of the wildlife that resides here year round and the wildlife that only briefly passes through. All of these photos are a little fuzzy since they were taken through my dirty office window. Hopefully all these cuties are successfully breeding right now and we get to see them again in the Fall!
