Hello from Greece - Santorini to be exact. I arrived last week and found myself immediately immersed. One of my first stops - Andreas Makaris’ studio, where I was able to learn a bit more about his work, and to try my hand for a bit as well. We didn’t speak the same language, but he was so patient, funny, and smokd nearly the entire time. So thankful to have spent an afternoon with the fifth-generation pottery maker at his studio, Earth and Water. And yes, he did give me an apron to wear, handed me a completed vase to pretend I made it (after I mangled the bowl he mostly made) offered me a shot of liquor, and found some of my posing for the photos funny (I hope). I’d recommend taking the apron he offers you, but if not just know the clay will come right out of your clothing. wearing some @Sézane favorites for the occasion, and I can’t remember which shoes because I cropped them out. #sezane #potterystudio #cinematicmoments
