The incredible Eric Williams, widely regarded as the Father of the Nation, served as the first Prime Minister from 1962 until 1981. A visionary and inspiring figure, speaking on the importance of unity for the West Indies Federation, Williams was quoted in stating: "One from ten leaves nought", highlighting that we are stronger together, than we are apart. Cheers to Trinidad and their right to independence! To celebrate, I'm sipping on this complex, Rum-based Manhattan variation, featuring Ten to One's Dark Rum-appropriately named after the largest city in Trinidad.
