Chef Nelson asked, we delivered 😎🍸 @chefnel4 Jalapeño Daquiri Yield: 1 cocktail Prep Time: 5 minutes Total Time: 5 minutes INGREDIENTS Jalapeño Simple Syrup 1⁄2 cup Mezzetta® Hot Sliced Jalapeño brine 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar Jalapeño Lemon Drop Martini Ice 3 ounces (6 tablespoons) white rum 1 1⁄2 ounces (3 tablespoons) fresh lime juice 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) jalapeño simple syrup Lime peel, to garnish Mezzetta® Sliced Hot Jalapeños, to garnish INSTRUCTIONS 1. To make the simple syrup, add all the ingredients to a small sauce pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Boil until all the sugar is dissolved, remove from the heat and allow to cool to room temperature. Transfer to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. 2. To a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the rum, lime juice and simple syrup and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. 3. Strain the cocktail into a coupe martini glass and garnish with a lime twist and a slice of jalapeno on the rim of the glass. 4. Enjoy!
