Me by me 👁📸 Been my own photo model for years, beginning with selfies on my dad’s palm pilot in the early 2000s. I love self-documentation as a form of myth making, although a lot of times using myself as a model has been more about convenience and being willing to subject myself to ideas that I wouldn’t ask someone else to enact. Now I think about directing oneself as a way of being your own witness. I want to create a story as much as I want to star in it.
