2.5 years was worth the wait! Brianna and Sean were my first Covid-postponed casualties with their original wedding planned just over a week after the official lockdown in the UK. Living in the US, their attempts at rearranging were also thwarted with international travel being a question of great uncertainty for the foreseeable - wow, remember those times? Being the kind-hearted, thoughtful and empathetic souls that they are, they didn’t want to ask me for a refund during those tough times for our industry, and instead said they’d come back to London when they could and roam with me and my camera, capturing the city that is so close to their hearts. Well yesterday that is exactly what we did. London was the busiest I’ve seen it in a long time, with all the visitors out in force to pay their respects to our late Queen. Usually no-one bats an eyelid in London when you’re wearing a wedding dress and having your photo taken but yesterday was different - so many well wishers and claps from strangers. Perhaps we were some welcome relief to make the 14-hour long queue pass quicker, but either way, it was fun to be out in the sunshine, making memories with these two wonderful human beings. Here’s just a few of them with the ever-impressive St Paul’s as a backdrop...and some dreamy golden light to round off a brilliant day. Brianna and Sean - thank you for your support - your generosity meant the world to me 🧡
