Bleue Burnham x SkyDiamond: our third collection for Gucci Vault. ‘This limited-edition collection of exclusively designed fine jewellery artworks, sees Bleue Burnham's philosophy of amplifying the beauty of a connection to the natural world combine with Skydiamond: diamonds mined from the sky, in a process that removes excess carbon from the atmosphere. The collection will be sold exclusively via Vault, Gucci's experimental space where the past and the present co-exist through imagination. As a gentle conversation between the essence of Bleue Burnham, Vault and Sky Diamond, the inspiration for this collection is the clouds; a harmonious equilibrium between imagination, mother nature and the source of Skydiamonds. The result is wearable clouds that sparkle with the warm smile of the universe.’ This ranges from silver rings and pendants with 5 diamonds, to gold rings and pendants ranging from 51 - 104 diamonds, and a gold bracelet with just under 500 diamonds. All rings and bracelets are in women's sizing and the pendants are unisex and include two lengths of chain (18" & 20"). The collection also features an exclusive hand embroidered cloud pouch, collaborative booklet and hand signed and numbered authenticity documents. The pouches are made of organic cotton, naturally dyed and hand embroidered. The booklet and authenticity documents are made of FSC & recycled paper stocks and printed using renewable energy in the British countryside. The diamonds are made using renewable energy on a localised, rainwater fed site in the British countryside. Their making process of ‘sky mining’ removes carbon from the atmosphere, creating diamonds and releasing clean air. Launching Monday.
